LA FAMIJA ARCIUNESA
The idea of an association with the aim of strengthening the traditions of our city was born in 1979 from a group of friends from the parish of San Martino in viale Diaz: Alver Colombari (historical father and founder) Orfeo Mingucci, Renzo Manaresi, Riccardo Angelini, Giorgio Piccioni, Mario Faetani, Remo Rastelli and Bruno Cecchini. Gathered in an evening at the Tre Fontane restaurant they thought of how to name it, Renzo Manaresi proposed to take a cue from the Famèja Bulgnèisa of Bologna: here is the birth of “Famija Arciunesa” and its “Father” is Alver.
On June 20, 1983, the association was officially established in the surveyor's office. Mario Faetani with deed of the Notary Maria Francesco Pelliccioni. Father Colombari thus becomes president. Since 1983 there have been seven Presidents over the years: Alver Colombari, wholesaler (1980-1987); Sirio Saponi, craftsman (1987-1989); Cesare Antonioli, electrical systems contractor (1989 -1990); Giorgio Piccioni, entrepreneur (1990-1992); Renzo Manaresi, driving school owner (1992-2001); Giuseppe Lo Magro, former middle school teacher (2001-2019). Francesco Cesarini, journalist, current President in office.
The headquarters of the newborn Famija Arciunesa was located in Via Minghetti 11, at the Parish of San Martino. The first issue of the newspaper comes out as a supplement to “Il Ponte” on November 1, 1980: editor in chief Piergiorgio Terenzi assisted by the journalist Luciano Sedioli; printed on two sheets, it was folded at the home of Alver Colombari with the help of the partners. Then later it will be sent by post while today it is directly delivered to all the houses in Riccione and sent by post to the non-common card holders.
At first, the celebrations of Blessed Alessio, San Martino, at the end of the year, a photographic exhibition, the competition of the nativity scenes set up in the houses and the typical Vegia were organized, then transformed into the competition of sweets: an evening where each member brought in a canvas ( psacia) your own delicacy.
The F.A. in recent years it has increased its initiatives to keep traditions alive, enhance the culture of the dialect and the history of the city, create aggregate moments, raise funds to help the less fortunate, to offer contributions to voluntary associations and donations of machinery to the 'G. Ceccarini ".
