Truppi Giovanni - Italian singer-songwriter and writer
The multi-instrumentalist Truppi Giovanni, from Naples born in 1981, had his debut in 2009 with "C'è un me inside me", later in 2013 "The world is as you put it in your head".
Already at the age of 7 he showed an affinity for music and began playing the piano which later became the key instrument of his musical repertoire.
In 2014 he designed and built a unique piano in the world, an instrument smaller than the classic one that can be disassembled and electric equipped with an amplifier.
In 2015 and 2017 he was the winner of the Nuovo Imaie award for best interpretation, he collaborated with Antonio Moresco regarding the drafting of the letter to Pope Francis.
Between 2013 and 2016 Truppi undertook an extensive tour of around 300 concerts and on the eve of the end of these events he recorded the most exciting songs from his repertoire.
In 2017 he was nominated for a Nastri D'Argento for best original song with "Loves who don't know how to stay in the world".
In addition, he created "La Domenica" a song that is part of the soundtrack of the theatrical show "The sky is not a backdrop" by the Deflorian / Tagliarini company.
In January 2019 he wrote the single "L'unica oltre l'amore", and in 2020 he sent the EP "5" to the markets, and saw the collaboration - as guests - of singers such as Calcutta, The Representative of Lista, Niccolò Fabi and Brunori Sas.
Following the publication of the volume "L'avventura" at the beginning of July 2021 Giovanni Truppi had confirmation of his participation in the Sanremo Festival 2022 with the touching song "Your father, my mother, Lucia".
