In this fraction of Romagna, she lived and - probably - was killed Francesca Da Polenta, wife of the more famous Giovanni Malatesta. It seems that the young woman was murdered by her husband, a traitor to their love.


If at first this short story was just a rumor, it seems that the Malatesta Fortress of Sant'Arcangelo is one of the first haunted buildings in which experts and enthusiasts have studied with specific equipment, confirming the legend of the ghost bride.
