Salinaro for a day
Every day the salt is harvested by hand (in turn), in the Camillone salt pan in Cervia.
This technique is called "multiple collection" and has been so for more than a century; the so-called "sea crust" formed in the various collection basins is taken.
For 30 years, the volunteers of the "Civiltà salinara" association have kept alive the traditions of salt harvesting.
In addition to the guided tour, for those who want, it is possible to become salinar for a day, under the guidance of an expert. Every Tuesday, until August.
Instead for normal visits, the days are Sunday and Thursday afternoon from 17:00 until mid-September.
