RAF- Italian singer-songwriter
Raffaele Riefoli, better known as Raf, was born in Margherita di Savoia, in the province of Lecce, on 29 September 1959.
Before dedicating himself to music, he moved to Florence, enrolling in the faculty of architecture, and it was there that he fell in love with the guitar and rock music and met the guitarist of Litfiba.
He left his city in Tuscany to move to London to found his band called Cafè Caracas.
At the time, unfortunately, living off music was almost impossible, so Raf had to work as a bartender and laborer. It was four years later, that Raf decided to leave the band to start an eventual solo.
In 1984 the album Self Control was released, but success had its advent in 1988 with the album Cosa restarà. Most famous songs of the artist: Ti pretendo and Barrito Animale.
Later in 2001 Raf debuted with a new album launched by the single Infinito. Sanremo: in 1988 with Inevitabile follia, in 1989 with Cosa restarà degli anni '80, in 1991 with Oggi un Dio non ho and in 2015 with Come una favola.
