NIKE

Nike is an American multinational company specializing in footwear, clothing and sports accessories.


The company name is inspired by the Greek goddess of victory Nike, a winged goddess capable of moving at high speed. The brand has a simple and quickly recognizable logo: the so-called Swoosh, an inverted horizontal comma. It was founded by Carolyn Davidson in 1971 as a stylized representation of the wing of the goddess.

The company is the largest sports equipment supplier in the world.
In 2013, it became a member of Dow Jones Industrial Average, replacing Alcoa.



Over the years, Nike has managed to expand its product line to include various sports and become the world's leading manufacturer of sportswear and accessories.
Today also wristwatches , eyewear, casual clothing for adults and children, clothing for the beach.



Nike has been the official ball supplier, among others, for the FA Premier League since 2000 and for the Lega Serie A from 2007 to 2022. Nike is the technical sponsor of various football teams, including clubs and national teams. Among the major European clubs, the Spanish Futbol Club Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, the English Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, the Italian Inter, the French Paris Saint-Germain and many others stand out.
