MOUNTAIN CARPEGNA

Monte Carpegna is one of the most important and famous montages of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines,
located near the village of Carpegna.
Village also known for the DOP ham which takes its name from him.

An unmissable destination for cycling enthusiasts.
The ascent of the mountain was also covered by the famous cyclist Marco Pantani.

The route "for cyclists" begins outside the town, indicated by the "Cippo Pantani" signs.
The route can be covered by car up to "Cippo Pantani", while by bicycle up to the Carpena pass,
the place where the cyclist Marco Pantani trained.
