MALUMA
Maluma is a Colombian singer known internationally.
His real name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias and he was born on January 28, 1994.
Why is he called "MALUMA"?
He decided to nickname himself for the desire to recognize the support of his mother Marlli, his father Luis and his sister Manuela.
From here, the first two letters of each name make "maluma".
According to the artist himself: "it is a tribute to them, because I love them and they are the engine of my career".
As a child he devoted himself a lot to football, in fact his father thought it would become his career.
At the age of 16 he began to receive singing lessons and in the last year of high school he decided to launch himself definitively in the world of music.
In 2011 he became famous in his native country with the singles Farandulera and Obsesión and in the rest of Latin America with La Temperature and Carneval.
