MALIKA AYANE
Malika Ayane, born in Milan on January 31 1984 is an Italian singer-songwriter.
After singing for several years in the children's choir of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and having collaborated in various commercials, in 2007 she signed a recording contract with the Sugar Music label, releasing her first album the following year, from from which the single Feeling Better was extracted.
You have participated five times in the Sanremo Festival: the first time in the Youth section in 2009, winning second place thanks to the song Come folle; then in 2010, winning the "Mia Martini" Critics Award and the Radio and TV Press Office Award in the Artists category with the song I'm starting from here and unleashing the orchestra's revolt which blatantly tore up the scores in protest of televoting which relegated the singer ranked fifth; in 2013 with the single E se poi, in 2015, with Adesso e qui (nostalgic present), with which she ranks third and which allows her to win the Critics Award for the second time and in 2021 with You like yourself like this.
During his career he has won numerous awards including a TRL Award, four Wind Music Awards, a Lunezia Award and a Roma Videoclip Award, as well as numerous nominations, including those for the Tenco Award, the Nastro d'argento, the MTV Europe Music Awards and the MTV Awards.
Since 2012 she has approached acting by playing the short Perfect, a cameo in All the sounds of the sea, as well as a role in James McTeigue's Caserta Palace Dream.
In 2016 she played the leading role in the musical Evita in Italian theaters.
