LAURA PAUSINI
Laura Pausini was born on May 16, 1974 in Solarolo, a small town in the province of Ravenna.
Laura started singing when she was a child, in fact she sang in the church choir and in her free time she enjoyed making duets with her father in the piano-bar evenings and at the same time she participated in various singing competitions in Emilia Romagna.
Her great opportunity came in 1991, when she passed the selections to participate in the Castrocaro Festival.
Laura thanks to her wonderful voice manages to hit the producer Marco Marati, who in 1993 brings her to the Sanremo Festival with the song "La Solitudine", from here the Pausini phenomenon was born, thanks to the win of the festival.
In the same year his first self-titled album "Laura Pausini" was released.
The following year she participates again in the festival with the song "Strani Amori" and wins the third place.
Laura Pausini also manages to conquer the foreign dicography market, which distances her from Italy for two years.
More than all of her to appreciate her talents was Spain, and in a short time her first album in Spanish called "Laura" was released.
Thanks to the Spanish language she manages to conquer the public of South America as well.
In 1995 she won the prize: the Oscar of music, the Word Music Award, which is given to her in Monte Carlo for having sold the largest number of records in the world.
Her first tour took place in '97 starting from Switzerland.
In 2022 she returned to TV and participated as a special guest in the second evening of Sanremo and a few weeks later, in May she leads the Eurovision Song Contest together with Mika and Alessandro Cattelan.
