HYDROFOIL
The structure of the object is similar if we consider a classic surfboard, with the difference that it can also be electrically powered, moving at great speed, even reaching 30 knots (about 50 km/hour).
Immersed in the water, the board maintains its horizontal balance thanks to the vertical thrust created by it, thus counteracting gravity by lifting the hull.
Compared to standard surfing, one does not ride the waves, but rather they are flown over, remaining somewhat as if suspended.
But how much does a board cost?
On the Amazon website, you can find either just the board component, to be used as a possible 'accessory' for a classic windsurfing board, or actual hydrofoil models that already work.
We would like to inform you, however, that unfortunately the prices are not the most affordable.
