EDOARDO LEO
Edoardo Leo is an Italian actor, screenwriter and director born on April 21, 1972 in Rome.
After graduating from the scientific high school with the minimum of marks, in 1999 he obtained, this time with the maximum marks, a degree in Letters at the La Sapienza University of Rome.
He then fails his exams at the academy and at the experimental center and so he writes a fake curriculum in which he claims to have attended "La Scaletta", an acting school in Rome, which he never actually attended.
Leo is known to the general public for roles in fiction such as "Un medico in famiglia", "Ho sposato un calciatore" and "I Cesaroni".
The actor in 2009 decides to go behind the cameras, he begins his career as a recorder and screenwriter.
His most recent works are: "Lasciarsi un giorno a Roma" (2021) film written, interpreted and directed by himself and his first documentary "Luigi Proietti detto Gigi".
For the film "Diciotto anni dopo" he was nominated for the David di Donatello for best new director and the Nastro d'argento for best new director.
In 2010, his film received numerous national and international awards.
