Corrado Sorrentino completes the tour of Sardinia

Corrado Sorrentino, forty-eight years old, a former water polo player, completes the "Giro di Sardegna" swimming solo.

The swimming champion did all this for his daughter, Amelia, who passed away at the age of 7 from a rare disease.

The prize will be given to charity and will be allocated to the pediatric oncohematology department of Cagliari.

Sorrentino says that while he was swimming, he cried and that on some occasions, he thought of abandoning the race but his strength was Amelia, he did all this for her.
