CARNIVAL

Every year, at the end of February, the Carnival is celebrated, which represents the perfect opportunity for young and old to dress up.
In the cities of Italy and around the world we find different traditions as regards the way of celebrating Carnival, but the most beautiful thing is that in any case it always manages to convey happiness.

If we think of the word “Carnival” surely two very important cities come to mind: we are talking about Venice and Rio de Janeiro.


In fact, they are undoubtedly the two most important cities with regard to this festival,
two cities that know how to convey the true magic of Carnival.


In Venice, every year, millions of people flock to the streets of the lagoon city to attend unique shows, float parades and above all the numerous and fascinating traditional masks.

In Rio de Janeiro, however, Carnival is celebrated with samba, one of the traditional Brazilian dances.
Here the colors are the masters together with music, shows and entertainment.


Carnival also knows how to delight us with all the typical dishes of this period: chiacchiere, castagnole and zeppole are some examples of the many existing recipes.


The magic of Carnival is unique, because only it, every year, for a few days, makes us children again…
