Belcalis Marlenis Almànazar, known by all as Cardi B.
She was born on October 11, 1992 in New York and raised in the Bronx.
In February 2017 she signed a deal with Atlantic Records, releasing her first major single: Bodak Yellow.
The song reaches the first place in the Billboard Hot 100 charts, thanks to which it manages to become one of the stars of American hip hop; to the point of getting two 2018 Grammy nominations: one for best rap performance and one for best rap song.
Her first album titled "Invasion of Privacy", released in 2018, was a resounding success.
In May 2018 at the Billboard Music Awards she wins the award as Top Female Artist.
She collaborated with: Maroon 5 with the song Girls Like you and Taki Taki by DJ Snake with Selena Gomez and Ozuna.
She also triumphed her presence at the American Music Awards, where she won three awards out of nine nominations, the first female rapper to achieve such success.
In 2021 she returned to great success with Rumors together with her friend and colleague Lizzo.
