BOLOGNA IN YELLOW - "TOUR DE FRANCE"
After 162km, the second stage of the Tour de France will arrive in the city center of Bologna on SUNDAY 30 JUNE, for a grand finale that includes a double circuit of the city, a double passage through San Luca and the arrival in Via Irnerio, with the finish line at height of Piazza VIII Agosto.
It will be forty minutes of pure spectacle, a great party for cycling enthusiasts and an unforgettable day for the city of Bologna. The entry of the runners into the city is expected between 4.00 pm and 4.30 pm, while the final sprint in Via Irnerio in front of the Montagnola is scheduled between 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm.
The possibility of seeing the runners twice on the same route (three times for those arriving at the finish line in via Irnerio) makes the Bologna stage the most popular for fans who will come from all over Italy and neighboring countries.
The most iconic stretch is certainly the San Luca climb, where fans are expected from the first light of dawn. Two mega screens will be set up at the Orfanelle curve and in Piazza VIII Agosto.
From Meloncello to Orfanelle there will also be toilets, merchandising shops and Peroni-Nastro Azzuro point to quench your thirst.
