BIAGIO ANTONACCI
Biagio Antonacci Italian singer-songwriter and guitarist.
He was born in Milan on 9 November 1963, but lived in Rozzano; his father was originally from Ruvo di Puglia and his mother from Milan.
Even at a very young age, he played drums in provincial groups, certainly while attending school to obtain his diploma as a surveyor.
In the meantime, he worked as a carabiniere in Garlasco, where he made the acquaintance of Ron's mother, who recommended him to Stadio leader Gaetano Curreri, who made him debut at the opening of one of his concerts.
Produced by Ron, in 1988 he participated among the Nuove Proposte at the 38th Sanremo Festival with the song 'Voglio vivere in un attimo', but did not make it to the final. He obtained his first record contract and in 1989 released his first album called 'Sono cose che capitano'.
In the following two years, his second album was released, entitled 'Adagio Biagio'.
As time passed, radio stations began to promote his songs such as Danza sul mio petto and Però ti amo, and success was within reach.
He was romantically linked to Marianna Morandi, Gianni Morandi's daughter, with whom he had two sons: Paolo and Giovanni.
Nowadays his partner is Paola Cardinale.
