BEN HARPER

Benjamin Chase Harper, known as "Ben Harper" was born in Claremont, California on October 28, 1969.

As a boy he began to approach music, playing the guitar in the back of his grandparents' musical instrument shop.

In particular, he specialized in the use of the lap steel guitar (particular guitar to be played with the slide).

Ben Harper has music in his blood, throughout his career he has written wonderful songs of every musical genre.



He released his first album in 1992, entitled "Pleasure and pain".

The record was unsuccessful but allowed him to be heard by the right people.

In 1994 he decided to give the press "Welcome to the cruel World", surprising the critics.

The following year he gave the studio another job, Fight for your mind, the first job with The Innocent Criminals.

2003 was the year of international success.



Ben also collaborated with Jovanotti, playing the guitar on the song Fango. In 2008 he accompanied the Roman singer-songwriter in his "hosted" on the stage of the Sanremo Festival.

After the incredible shows by Amyl and The Sniffers and Kokoroko, the magical ten-year open sky continues with the 10th edition.
