BEACH VOLLEY
Beach volleyball is a team sport, on the sand, which became Olympic in 1996.
It was born as a variant of volleyball.
Two teams of two players each compete on a sand court divided by a net.
It is the most popular sport among those practiced on the sand beach.
Every bathing establishment in every corner of the globe has at least one beach volleyball court, even in countries where volleyball has little success.
It is easily practicable, requires little equipment, little maintenance and little space.
In fact, in Riccione there is no beach that doesn't have a regular beach volleyball court.
Serves, dunks, blocks, crashes and dives to recover the ball... they offer unique emotions under the sun amidst clouds of sand and beads of sweat.
