ARIANA GRANDE
Ariana Grande was born on June 26, 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida, the daughter of Joan, owner of a company that makes security alarms for the Navy, and Edward, owner of a graphic design company. The surname Grande (of Italian origin) is actually that of her mother.
At the age of four, Ariana is chosen by Nickelodeon to take part in the show "All that". From that moment she approaches dancing, acting, singing and entertainment in general. After she, at the age of eight, she wins her first major role in Annie, in a children's theater company, she devotes herself to singing under the influence of Gloria Estefan. Since 2009 Ariana begins to record and publish on her Youtube channel covers of songs by her favorite singers, in the meantime she sings in several symphony orchestras, she also appears in the sit-com "Victorious" as Cat Valentine.
In 2011 she released "Put your hearts up", her first single, whose video clip was initially released on Vevo but then canceled due to the request of Ariana Grande herself, not satisfied with her surrender. After announcing the ending of "Victorius", she announces that she will take part in "Sam & Cat" reprising the role she had in the previous show. In 2013 Ariana Grande completes "Yours truly", her first unreleased album; the album was released for the Republic Records label in September, and also contains "The way", the first single, in which Ariana duets alongside Mac Miller.
Going platinum in the US and gold in Australia, the single is followed by "Baby I"; the album in the first week alone sells almost 140 thousand copies, a result thanks to which the Grande becomes the first woman to enter first place in the chart of best-selling records with her debut work. In 2014 Ariana released the first single, "Problem", from her second studio album, entitled "My everything": the piece, in which she duets with rapper Iggy Azalea, earned her the "Mtv Video Music Awards" for the best pop video, and is followed by "Break free", the second single, made in collaboration with DJ Zedd. In the summer, Grande sings together with rapper Nicki Minaj and with Jessie J for the single "Bang bang"; followed by the singles "Best mistake" and "Love me harder", the latter created with the Canadian The Weeknd.
In 2015 she embarks on her first solo world tour, The Honeymoon Tour, while in March 2016 she released the third album "Dangerous woman", with the single of the same name followed by the songs "Be alright" and "Let me love you". In 2017 she starts her new tour around the world, The Dangerous Woman Tour and in 2021 she stars in the Oscar nominated film "Don't Look Up".
