ADRIANO CELENTANO
Adriano Celentano is an Italian singer-songwriter, actor and entrepreneur.
He was nicknamed the "Molleggiatore" because of his way of dancing.
Celentano was born on January 6, 1963 in Milan.
In reality, his parents have Apulian origins and who moved to the north for work.
In 1951 Adrianio moved to Via Correnti and it was from this transfer that he took inspiration for the piece of the song: "The boy from via Gluck".
Leaving compulsory school, he starts working and at the same time begins to take an interest in music, in particular rock'n'roll.
She formed a group of 4 guys, the Rock Boys made up of: the three brothers Ratti on drums, bass and guitar and Ico Cerutti on second guitar. Over time the pianist Enzo Jannacci also joined the group and then Celentano also met a dancer, Alberto Longoni, in the name of Torquato il Molleilato who often followed the group in some performances.
The group participated in the first edition of the Italian rock and roll festival, An acrobatic rock dance contest in which Celentano participates as an accompanist to the dancers. He wins the festival with the song "Hello I'll tell you".
Celentano is noticed by the discographer Walter Guertler, with whom he signs his first contract with the Music label, releasing his first 45 rpm.
The rock boys separate and the Rebels are born.
Celentano until the 80s had a great success among films, broadcasts and concerts.
Among his great successes is MinaCelentano in 1998; it is a duet album with Mina.
In 2012 he participated as a guest at the Sanremo festival and always the same year he returns with a two-evening concert at the Verona Arena.
